Money is a fascinating concept. 99% of people spend their lives chasing it while the ones in the 1% try to figure out what to do next. In these times of extraordinary inequality, I think it's important to know what the uber-rich think about money. With this book, Mr. Parekh has collated his personal conversations with the Ultra HNIs of the Indian diaspora, giving the rest of us a spectrum of perspectives.
Covering many known personalities like Mr. Ratan Tata, Kunal Shah, Shekhar Kapoor, etc. to relatively obscure (but extremely affluent) folks, the collection of conversations in this book can surprise the best of us.
I'm not at a stage to be thinking about "What shall I do with all this money", but when I reach there, I hope I can do what I want to do now - make great companies, terrific music and masterful films.
